Growing to a height of 24", it produces large, tender, and sweetly fragrant leaves, remaining our basil of choice for making pesto and wherever basil is called for. SOWING:

Sow indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost.

Transplant out after the last frost.

May be direct seeded after the last frost when the soil has warmed

FERTILITY:

Moderate-Rich. Well-drained, evenly moist, and loamy soil is preferred. Basil is not drought-tolerant!

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Basil is not drought tolerant and prefers even moisture.

Harvest early in the morning when the air temperature is still cool, and dew is on the leaves to prevent wilting.

To harvest the whole plant, cut back to 4-6". It will regrow!
